In this section we present some photos related to our work of the
last years. The snapshots were taken at various customer sites. The
pictures do not originate from marketing material or similar documents,
moreover they are showing life systems in production or test environments.
A
typical Avaya Definity Server R (former Definity G3r) in multicarrier
cabinet configuration. Not all cabinets are equipped with boards.
The system shown runs Release 6, which has been issued in the late
90's.
Another
multicarrier cabinet shown from the rear. Each plug connects trunks,
lines or other resources to the private branch exchange. A Definity
Server R may interconnect 44 such cabinets via ATM allowing for large
PBX and call centre configurations.
This
photo shows the main console common to each Definity system (SAT).
The system may be administered remotely over TCP/IP or standard analog
/ digital lines. We always recommend to put a terminal in place, as
it still works, long after PC's and connections have died.
On
the left the largest version of the Avaya Call Management System (CMS).
CMS is interconnected with a network of call centres using TCP/IP
or digital lines. It allows central operation and reporting for distributed
call centres.
